We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Specialist to join our team in Guildford. As an Autism Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care, support, and educational assistance to autistic adult learners.

  • About the Role:
  • Provide personalised support to help autistic learners develop essential skills for greater independence, well-being, and social engagement.
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons and activities that promote skill development and personal growth.
  • Offer behaviourally-informed support to reduce behaviours that impact the quality of life.
  • Assist with personal care, including toileting, dressing, and hygiene, in a respectful and dignified manner.
  • Facilitate learners' involvement in social, leisure, and educational activities in the local community.
  • Help learners access work experience and employment opportunities, tailored to their individual needs and goals.
  • Monitor and record learners' progress to ensure effective support and continuous improvement.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £28,000 per annum (based on 40 hours/week), reflecting the value we place on your expertise and dedication.
