Seeking a dedicated Graduate to work as an Aspiring Clinical Psychologist / Autism Support Assistant at a specialist school near Guildford, supporting children aged 4-19 with complex needs. The school prioritizes individual happiness and well-being, focusing on academic, social, and emotional growth.

This role is an opportunity to apply your studies in a hands-on setting, supporting vulnerable children with various barriers due to their complex needs. You will be instrumental in providing consistency and equipping children with tools to feel safe, secure, empowered, and believe they can succeed in life.

You will collaborate with teachers and specialist staff to support students with learning difficulties, including autism, sensory impairments, physical challenges, SEMH needs, and associated behaviors. Professionals you will work alongside include Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, and Counsellors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with complex needs in a collaborative environment
  • Work with teachers and specialists to develop personalized plans for student success
  • Contribute to creating a safe, secure, and empowering atmosphere for students
  • Develop skills in working with children with autism, sensory impairments, and other special needs

The position offers competitive pay, starting at £80-£100 per day, term-time only, PAYE. Excellent training, support, and CPD are provided to ensure the safeguarding of all students. No previous experience is required, but the right to work in the UK is essential.
