Support Assistant for Children with Autism

Are you passionate about supporting children with autism and speech language difficulties?
We are seeking a dedicated Support Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the school's teaching staff, therapists, and support staff to deliver specific interventions that aim to boost students' learning, development, and language acquisition.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students, behaviour and pastoral support, and taking an active role in forward planning with therapists. You will have the opportunity to build robust and effective relationships with students, demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and provide caring and compassionate support.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate or aspiring Speech and Language Therapist to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. We offer on-site training, support, and CPD to ensure safeguarding of all students.
Salary: £90 - £110 per day
