Autism Specialist Care Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Youth Support Worker to join our team at a growing educational centre near Guildford. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide support and care to individuals with autism, helping them to develop new skills and achieve their goals.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with autism. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualised support to students, developing and implementing tailored care plans, and working closely with other professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Youth Support Worker who has a passion for working with individuals with autism. To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A background in care or teaching, with experience working with individuals with autism
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of students
• Knowledge of autism and its impact on daily life, with a commitment to providing high-quality support and care
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including opportunities for career development and progression.
