As a member of our ERC-funded team, you will work under the supervision of Prof. Richard Nickl on the project 'Statistical aspects of non-linear inverse problems.'

This exciting role involves undertaking your own research programme and contributing to ongoing projects using databases, modelling, and computation as needed.

You will be responsible for writing up results for publication and presenting your work to colleagues at conferences and steering groups both internally and externally.

In addition, you may be asked to assist in supervising student projects and providing instruction to classes or small groups of students.

To succeed in this role, you will have completed (or nearly completed) a PhD degree in mathematics with relevant background knowledge in mathematical statistics and probability theory.
