About the Role

This pivotal position involves working closely with the residential team to implement care plans, conduct risk assessments, and provide personal care as needed. The successful candidate will have experience in supervision, staff development, and training, as well as a background in working with young people or vulnerable adults with emotional or behavioural difficulties.

The salary for this role is £32,053 per annum, reflecting the challenging yet rewarding nature of the position.

Duties
  1. Implementing care plans, assessing risks, and devising support and health plans.
  2. Providing personal care for children and young people with disabilities and complex needs.
  3. Supporting children and young people's emotional, mental, and physical health needs to enhance their overall well-being.
  4. Nurturing children's ambitions and promoting learning opportunities within and outside the educational system.
  5. Maintaining a safe and respectful environment, prioritizing children's privacy while adhering to a duty of care.
Essential Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum NVQ/QCF Diploma Level 3 in Residential Child Care and QFC Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services Level 5. Additionally, recent experience working with young people or vulnerable adults with emotional or behavioural difficulties is highly valued.
