Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Residential Care Specialist to join our team in Doncaster. As a Residential Child Care Officer, you will work sensitively as part of a team providing a warm, caring, and enabling environment designed to meet the emotional, social, and physical needs of looked-after children and young people.

This role requires a genuine passion for working with children and young people, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and resilience to work within a rota that includes weekends and unsocial hours. You must also be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high level of care and support to children and young people.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver effective services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., childcare, youth work).
  • Experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
