Care Coordinator Job Description

At Progressive Care UK Limited, we're seeking a skilled Care Coordinator to join our team in Matlock.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for assisting with the care of our children and young people aged 12-17, ensuring a homely environment is maintained and contributing to meeting each child's physical, emotional, social, and educational needs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Build positive relationships with children and support their development while ensuring their safety.
  • Work within a team to advocate for children's needs and mentor less experienced staff.
  • Contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes self-esteem and improves lives.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma or relevant qualification.
  • Possession of or willingness to work towards a Management qualification (preferable).
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Leadership qualities, experience of mentoring, and a genuine desire to improve lives.
