Senior Care Coordinator

We are recruiting a Senior Care Coordinator to work at The Porterbrook Care Home in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care professional to lead our care team and ensure the highest standard of care for our residents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, preferably with a SVQ/NVQ Level 3 qualification. You will be responsible for coordinating shifts, leading by example, and being accountable for the performance of your team during each shift.

You will be part of a dynamic team that provides person-centered care to our residents. Our home offers a range of benefits, including pension, onsite parking, paid DBS, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and coordinating the care team to maintain a caring and efficient atmosphere
  • Supporting residents with daily activities, such as dressing, bathing, and mobility
  • Managing medication, including ordering, administration, and documentation
  • Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

Estimated salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum.
