**Job Title:** Youth Justice Assistant Director

**Salary:** £40,000 - £55,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Youth Justice Assistant Director. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing complex services and experience in developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve outcomes for children and families.

The role requires the ability to work closely with local partners, including Police, Probation, Education, and Health Services, to ensure that we are providing the best possible support to vulnerable young people. As an experienced director, you will be responsible for leading the development of our Youth Justice Service strategy and ensuring that effective systems are in place regarding resource deployment, performance management, and strategic planning.

The successful candidate will embody a trauma-informed and child-first approach to Youth Justice, having knowledge of the issues that impact children and families, which can lead to engaging in offending behaviour. They will also understand relevant legislation and National Standards.

  • Lead the development of our Youth Justice Service strategy
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Youth Justice Service in Sheffield
  • Supervise Team Managers and assist the Service Manager in strategic planning
