**Job Title:** Children's Services Manager

**Salary:** £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

We are recruiting for a Children's Services Manager to lead the operations of our Youth Justice Service in Sheffield. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing multi-agency teams and experience in developing and implementing effective strategies to prevent offending by children.

The role requires the ability to work closely with local partners, including Police, Probation, Education, and Health Services, to ensure that we are providing the best possible outcomes for children and families. As an experienced manager, you will be responsible for supervising Team Managers and assisting the Service Manager in ensuring that effective systems are in place regarding resource deployment, performance management, and strategic planning.

The successful candidate will embody a trauma-informed and child-first approach to Youth Justice, having knowledge of the issues that impact children and families, which can lead to engaging in offending behaviour. They will also understand relevant legislation and National Standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Youth Justice Service in Sheffield
  • Supervise Team Managers and assist the Service Manager in strategic planning
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent offending by children
