About Us

Burman Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to join our team in Birmingham. As the HR Consultant, you will play a key role in providing expert support and guidance to staff and managers, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Handle disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations with professionalism and care.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and ensure new starters have a great onboarding experience.
  • HR Support: Provide advice on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment law.
  • Policy Development: Keep HR policies and procedures up to date and aligned with best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with leadership to deliver initiatives that align with organisational goals.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards it).
  • Proven HR experience, ideally within education or a related sector.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Good knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
