About Mitchells & Butlers

We are a leading hospitality company with a rich history dating back to 1898. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences, and we're looking for a talented Business Analyst - HR to join our award-winning Business Change and Technology Team.

Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst - HR to join our team on a 2-year fixed term contract. As a key member of our Business Change and Technology Team, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting, prioritizing and owning HR business and technical requirements as part of a complex Human Capital Management (HCM) transformation and implementation programme.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing business change projects across multiple functions and stakeholders, preferably with prior involvement in HCM implementations or similar transformation programmes. You will also have a minimum of 5 years industry experience with demonstrable success in implementing software and organizational process change projects with external vendors.

About the Role

This role involves a mixture of office and home working, with our Head Office based in Birmingham City Centre. You will build relationships with HCM product owners and subject matter experts to ensure continuous involvement in programme discussions and activities.

Additionally, you will take ownership of the HR workstream requirements and design in detail, supporting the HR workstream project manager with planning, coordination, and reporting activities on a continuous basis.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and document HR processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Buid relationships with product owners and subject matter experts to ensure continuous involvement in programme discussions and activities.
  • Take ownership of the HR workstream requirements and design in detail.
  • SUPPORT THE HR WORKSTREAM PROJECT MANAGER WITH PLANNING, COORDINATION, AND REPORTING ACTIVITIES ON A CONTINUOUS BASIS.
Requirements
  • Experience of managing business change projects across multiple functions and stakeholders, preferably with prior involvement in HCM implementations or similar transformation programmes.
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience with demonstrable success in implementing software and organizational process change projects with external vendors.
  • Demonstrable understanding of technical aspects of IT and ability to apply this to business situations.
  • Experience of HCM systems and processes within the hospitality or retail sector.
  • Full understanding of the product development/change lifecycle.
  • Full awareness of agile, waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies.

  • 33% off at all our brands, including hotels, whether it's date night at Miller & Carter or a family roast at Toby Carvery.
  • A pension that pays, where we'll more than match your contributions (x1.5 of your contributions, up to a maximum of 5% of your salary).
  • Private healthcare, dental plan, cycle to work, and keep fit schemes.
