Role Overview
The Sales Executive role at FIS is a dynamic and challenging opportunity for a self-motivated, high-achieving sales professional to join a team of industry leaders in the fintech industry.
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the company's presence in the wealth management market. You will work closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and provide exceptional customer service to existing clients.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in technology solutions selling into financial services, as well as experience selling to wealth management customers. Industry knowledge within capital markets software is a plus, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquiring New Clients: Acquire new clients through prospecting, networking, and cold calling to ensure sales quotas are achieved.
- Developing Sales Pipeline: Develop a sound sales pipeline of potential sales opportunities in assigned territory and accounts.
- Executing Strategic Sales Plans: Develop and execute strategic sales plans for each major opportunity.
- Participating in Sales Calls: Participate in sales calls and meetings to determine appropriate resources or representation by other FIS departments to win and close the deal.
- Building Client Relationships: Build and develop relationships to work with key clients and new prospects at all relevant levels.
- Maintaining Sales Database: Reflect input activity within and maintain accurate and comprehensive sales database (Dynamics).
- Market Awareness: Maintain awareness of market and industry trends.
