Retail Operations Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced retail leader to join our team as Head of Retail (North). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the success and growth of our northern retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 6-8 direct reports and oversee the performance of all areas within your remit, driving sales, standards, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience, drive sales growth, and increase customer loyalty.
- Oversee the execution of new store openings and refits, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Lead the area with robust commercial and operational principles, prioritizing, planning, and directing activities and action plans that deliver a high-performance way of working.
- Ensure succession, recruitment, training, and ongoing development of colleagues, resulting in excellent colleague engagement and customer outcomes.
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of retail operations through previous experience of multi-site retail management.
- Effective organizational and communication skills, with the ability to communicate messages at all levels.
- Ability to impact and influence others without direct line authority.
- Resilient leader with highly developed leadership and coaching skills.
- P&L management with excellent numerical and analytical skills, able to translate data into insights and actions.
