Office Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Coordinator to join our team at James Andrews Recruitment Solutions (JAR Solutions). As an Office Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including managing multiple inboxes, telephone answering, and forwarding messages as necessary.
  • Support staff with room bookings, internal and external, and maintain our Google calendar.
  • Coordinate office maintenance, including managing contractors and service providers, and overseeing repairs and cleaning services.
  • Manage office and IT purchases within budget and in a timely manner, working closely with our IT support company and the Workspace Manager.
  • Coordinate IT onboarding and offboarding of staff, supporting the Workspace Manager.
  • Support the Workspace Manager with remote, onsite, and offsite events, including planning and coordinating organization-wide events.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with cloud-based environments, particularly Google Workspace.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with a flexible approach to support a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn, with a solutions-focused approach and initiative to work collaboratively.
  • Good verbal presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Hours:
  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
