Job Title: Branch Operations Manager

Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is currently working with a moving and relocation company in Surrey to recruit an experienced Branch Operations Manager.

This is an operations-focused role, working closely with the operations manager, responsible for delivering efficient operations and the execution of moves from start to finish, managing resources and resolving any unforeseen issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between the Crew and the Operations Department to guarantee that clients receive high-quality service.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Services and Operations Management teams to provide guidance on relocation timetables and plans.
  • Anticipate client demands and provide constructive solutions in order to guarantee high service delivery standards.
  • Dispatch, brief, and debrief the crew to ensure they have all the equipment needed to do the task at hand.
  • Monitor equipment, standards, and gate operations for vehicles.
  • Use Moveware to print and distribute job sheets and work tickets, actualize returned work tickets, and handle any additional administrative tasks as needed.
  • Document crew working hours to guarantee data records are correct and WTD hours are followed.
  • Supervise and create load lists to guarantee that cars are ready and loaded.
  • Keep an eye on crew performance on all jobs, communicating with the teams frequently, offering support, and offering guidance to guarantee that ad hoc concerns and delays are handled well and shared with Move Managers and other pertinent parties.
  • Manage outside labor (contractor and agency workers).
  • Participate in company meetings, weekly and monthly team meetings, conference calls, and meetings with members of the operations teams as needed.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience in the moving industry required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Able to work with and support multiple teams.
