About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Radiographer. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work as part of the Plain Film X-ray team, undertaking clinical shifts and supporting the multidisciplinary team. The apprenticeship will be completed in conjunction with Keele University, where you will study alongside working clinically in the department.

Main Duties
  • Gain extensive workplace learning and practice in Imaging
  • Support the multidisciplinary team in the Imaging Department
  • Work alongside qualified Radiographers to support patient pathways and liaise with the wider MDT
  • Undertake any formal or informal study and training required to fulfill the needs of the post
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with the following skills and qualities:

  • Grade C or 4 or equivalent Maths and English
  • A-Level or BTEC or Equivalent qualifications
  • Clinical experience in an Imaging department or other healthcare environment
  • Public facing role
  • Ability to work as part of the 7 day service at Royal Stoke, County Hospital and peripheral sites
