Radiography Specialist

To work at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust as a Trainee Advanced Practitioner in Adult Chest and Abdomen Plain Film reporting at the Royal Stoke, County and Peripheral sites.
The post holder will be supported by a team of Advanced Practitioners within the Royal Stoke, County and Peripheral Imaging Departments at UHNM to provide a high quality service to a range of patients, relatives and service users.
To carry out high quality diagnostic imaging examinations in a way which meets the needs of our patients within the Imaging Directorate of the UHNM, within your specialist area.
Upon qualification to provide high quality reports of diagnostic images and to provide clinical expertise in your specialist area in the Radiographic Departments of the UHNM.
- To be prepared to undertake any formal study or informal training required to fulfil the needs of the post, including self-study.
- Play a leadership role in department Audit and Quality Assurance to maintain effective Clinical Governance, e.g. analysis of a particular technique in improving diagnosis, capacity and demand measurement or process mapping.
- To assist in organising staff rotas and deployment of staff to ensure adequate service provision can be maintained, when required.
- Have a positive attitude to flexible working to meet the demands of the service.

Qualifications:
- BSc (Hon) Radiography or equivalent.
