About the Job
University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Imaging Directorate as an Apprentice Radiographer. This exciting opportunity is designed for those looking to pursue a career in radiography while gaining valuable work experience.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, undertaking clinical shifts and contributing to patient care. They will also have the opportunity to study alongside qualified radiographers, gaining a deeper understanding of the profession and developing essential skills.
Person Specification
- Grade C or 4 or equivalent Maths and English
- A-Level or BTEC or Equivalent qualifications
- Clinical experience in an Imaging department or other healthcare environment
- Public facing role
- Ability to work as part of the 7 day service at Royal Stoke, County Hospital and peripheral sites
- Experience of working in a busy environment and under pressure
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, able to cope with demanding and difficult situations
