About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Relief Care Worker. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities.

  • Administer medication and assist with daily routines.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to individuals, enhancing their quality of life.

Requirements

  • Be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks.
  • Be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and meet the standards and criteria for registration.
  • Have the relevant permission to work in the UK, granted by UK Visas and Immigrations.

This post is eligible for a Shetland Island Allowance of £2,541 pro rata per annum.
