About the Company:
Devonshire Appointments is a global omni-channel communications business, seeking a proactive and creative HR Business Partner to support our Norwich site in achieving its goals and implementing HR objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
As an HR Business Partner, you will provide day-to-day support and guidance to business managers, ensuring best practice in People Management and maintaining awareness of employee/management challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing full HR support and guidance to business managers to ensure compliance with legal and ethical practices.
- Maintaining an HR presence in the business and staying updated on employee/management challenges.
- Assisting with new business opportunities and renewals.
- Liaising with HR Shared Services to ensure efficient delivery of HR Administration.
- Supporting the Learning & Development team with training requirements for the site and broader business.
- Establishing and maintaining systems for monitoring, measuring, and reporting on HR activity.
- Contributing to the delivery of HR projects and initiatives as determined by the HR Director or site SLT.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- At least 3 years' experience as an HR Business Partner.
- Proven TUPE experience in unionized and non-unionized environments.
- Strong communication skills, including written, oral, email, and presentation.
- A good working knowledge of Excel, specifically the ability to use pivot tables and formulas.
- Hands-on problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate ideas and recommend solutions.
- A positive attitude towards dealing with people.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, customer service, and organizational skills.
