Data Quality and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality and Compliance Manager to join our team at the North West Ambulance Service. This is a full-time role on a permanent basis, and we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
The successful candidate will have significant knowledge and experience of working with apprenticeship data and ILR compliance, as well as providing evidenced assurance of conformity to external standards. They will also have demonstrable experience of centre management audit and regulatory compliance.
Regular travel in your own vehicle may be required across the North West, subject to Agenda for Change terms and conditions. We actively encourage the use of technology to reduce unnecessary journeys.
Main duties of the jobThis rewarding and challenging role is responsible for working with the Qualifications and Centre Manager to provide assurance of compliance with external standards, such as Ofsted and ESFA. The successful candidate will also develop and maintain data tracking, audit, and control systems to contribute to effective internal monitoring and management of performance and compliance.
They will manage and work with the Data and ILR Coordinators to ensure a robust system of learner enrolment and ongoing data management. They will also maintain evidence of eligible apprenticeship delivery costs and expenditure of apprenticeship monies.
About usNorth West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport. Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.
We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need. Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
Requirements- Evidence of good organisational, planning, and time management skills.
- Experience of data analysis to produce reports.
- Educated to level 6 or equivalent knowledge and experience in the field of data management and compliance.
- English and maths qualifications at level 2.
- The leadership qualities necessary to inspire others.
- Demonstrable IT skills to enable recording and reporting, specifically use of Excel.
- Demonstrable experience of line management responsibilities.
- Specialist knowledge of compliance to regulatory bodies and ESFA funding rules.
- Working together - demonstrate collaborative and inclusive working and challenge behaviour that is not inclusive or acceptable.
