Central Reporting Accountant

Morrisons is seeking a Central Reporting Accountant to provide critical support to our Meat Accounting Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing weekly P&L Consolidation for three sites and completing group reporting.
This role will involve:
- Preparation of weekly P&L and consolidation across three sites.
- Weekly P&L Pack preparation.
- Insight and analysis for site general managers.
- Providing cover for two site accountants on yield and cost control.
- Month-end journals and reconciliation.
- Other ad-hoc projects.
We are looking for a professional with a CIMA, ACA, ACCA, AAT, or equivalent qualification. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of financial and management accounting, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver in a complex, fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will also possess:
- Excellent analytical thinking and numerical skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Good verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate financial data in a clear and transparent way.
- Resilience and the ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment.
- Experience of stakeholder management.
- Experience of prioritizing to meet deadlines.
