Job Summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our client's team in Colne, Blackburn. As a key member of the accounting function, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and assist in the day-to-day running of the Accounts Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts
  • Complete weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all balances are known and correct
  • Manage monthly payroll and reconcile off-sales documents daily
  • Verify sales commissions and update daily estimates versus actuals
  • Reconcile eBay, Shopify, and Amazon accounts
  • Optimize accounting systems to ensure efficient use
  • Supervise the purchase ledger and ensure timely invoice processing with no debit balances
  • Manage monthly suppliers' BACS run and supervise the sales ledger to collect debts
  • Hold weekly debtors meetings with department managers
  • Communicate effectively with department managers and assist with financial matters
  • Prepare daily cash flow forecasts and cover weekly forecasts in the Financial Controller's absence

Requirements

  • Experience in the retail motor trade or automotive industry
  • Kerridge experience is desirable
  • Organized and effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and AAT qualifications
