Central Reporting Accountant

Morrisons is seeking a Central Reporting Accountant to provide critical support to our Meat Accounting Team. This role will involve preparing weekly P&L Consolidation for three sites and completing group reporting. The successful candidate will report to the Meat Division Finance Manager and play a key role in driving improved reporting and group results.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of weekly P&L and consolidation across three sites.
- Weekly P&L Pack preparation.
- Insight and analysis for Site General Managers.
- Provide cover for two Site Accountants on Yield and Cost Control.
- Month End Journals and reconciliation.
- Other ad-hoc projects.
We are looking for a professional with a CIMA, ACA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent qualification. You will have knowledge of financial and management accounting, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver in a complex, fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical thinking and numerical skills are essential, as well as excellent Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills. You will also have good verbal communication skills, the ability to articulate financial data in a clear and transparent way, and experience of stakeholder management.
