Job Title: Management Accountant - Retail Motor Trade

Job Summary:

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our client's team in Colne. As a key member of the accounting function, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and assist in the day-to-day running of the Accounts Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Produce manufacturer composites and complete weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage monthly payroll, reconciliation of off-sales DOC daily, and checking and verifying sales commissions
  • Update daily estimates versus actuals, reconcile eBay, Shopify, and Amazon accounts, and optimize systems for efficient use
  • Supervise the purchase ledger, ensuring timely processing of invoices and no debit balances
  • Manage monthly suppliers BACS run, supervise the sales ledger, and collect debts
  • Hold weekly debtors meetings with managers and communicate effectively with department managers
  • Cover weekly forecast in the absence of the Financial Controller and provide daily cash flow forecasts

Requirements:

  • Experience in the retail motor trade or automotive industry
  • Kerridge experience desirable
  • Organized and good communication skills
  • Excel and AAT qualifications
