**Job Title: Behavioural Support Specialist**
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Behavioural Support Specialist to support a child in KS1 with suspected Autism (ASC) at a primary school in Chorley (PR7).
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage and de-escalate the child's outbursts and put support into place to prevent these in the future.
- Work closely alongside the Class Teacher, SENCo, and other relevant staff to identify the child's triggers and establish the best strategies for managing challenging behaviour.
- Support the child in their daily activities, including in and out of the classroom environment.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in a related subject, such as Supporting Teaching and Learning in School or Health and Social Care.
- Proven track record of effectively managing challenging behaviour.
- Child only Workforce DBS certificate registered on the online update service.
