Educational Support Specialist

As an Educational Support Specialist with Prospero Teaching, you will have the opportunity to work with students aged 11-16 who require support with their SEMH needs. This role is ideal for graduates looking to gain experience in an alternative educational setting.
The position involves working with small groups of children with SEN, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential. You will be responsible for building rapport with the students, supporting their social and behavioural needs, and acting as a mentor.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of SEMH needs and be able to provide a safe and supportive environment for the students. A clean Enhanced DBS and relevant qualifications are essential, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to form new relationships.
In return for your hard work and dedication, Prospero Teaching offers free continued professional development courses, including safeguarding and behaviour management training. You will also have access to an in-house Training and Development Team.
