About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Look Ahead. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will work closely with our customers to provide support and guidance in managing their behaviours, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and monitor customer behaviours, identifying triggers and alleviating factors
  • Plan and implement appropriate interventions to modify and resolve behaviours
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, families, and other professionals
  • Collaborate with support organizations to ensure comprehensive care
  • Present and feedback on behavioural analysis to other professionals
  • Report any concerns or incidents related to customer welfare
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the service

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with customers with Autism/Behaviour that challenges and Diabetics
  • Good IT skills
  • Driver's license
