About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Look Ahead in Newham. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, helping them to develop independent living skills and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and monitor customer behaviours, identifying triggers and alleviating factors
  • Plan and implement appropriate interventions to modify and resolve behaviours
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, families, and other professionals
  • Collaborate with support organizations to ensure comprehensive care
  • Present and feedback on behavioural analysis to other professionals
  • Report any concerns or incidents related to customer welfare
Requirements
  • NVQ Level or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with customers with Autism/Behaviour that challenges and Diabetics
  • Good IT skills
  • Driver's license
