About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Behavioural Support Worker to join our team at Look Ahead. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with Autism and challenging behaviour to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional, psychological, and social support to individuals with Autism and challenging behaviour
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans to promote positive behaviour and reduce challenging behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support
  • Monitor and record customer progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the service

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with Autism and challenging behaviour
  • Good IT skills
  • Driver's license
