About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Look Ahead. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, including those with Autism and Behaviour that Challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and monitor customer behaviours, identifying triggers and alleviating factors.
  • Plan and implement effective interventions to modify and resolve challenging behaviours.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, families, and other support organizations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement behaviour support plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to customers in developing independent living skills, including personal and physical care.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of customer progress and behaviour data.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with customers with Autism/Behaviour that Challenges and Diabetics.
  • Good IT skills and ability to use digital systems.
  • Valid Right to Work for the UK.
