New Business Controller - (Home Based) - Nationwide Hospitality & Catering

Are you passionate about driving business growth and leading a team from the front? Do you have a proven track record of identifying and winning new business opportunities?

As a New Business Controller, you will be responsible for leading a team of Corporate New Business Managers to identify, qualify, tender for, and win new accounts in the corporate space for Fresh Direct. Your challenge will be to gain new profitable business, exceed budget requirements, and build a network of potential new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and motivate the New Business Managers to achieve their targets
  • Build a network of potential new customers and tender for new business opportunities
  • Identify learning and development opportunities for the team and work closely with L&D to continually raise the bar in New Business
  • Ensure full adoption and utilisation of Salesforce to enable accurate forecasting for the business of new wins
  • Actively lead the team through MEDDIC methodology and continue to develop and improve our New Business Process
  • Build the strategic plan and pipeline to drive growth across the Sysco business

About You:

You'll be a strategic thinker with a hunter mentality, able to identify and pursue new business opportunities. You'll have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to interpret and understand financial data. You'll be a team player, able to work collaboratively with a dedicated focus on driving results.
