New Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Manager to join our team at Brake Bros Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving sales growth, and building long-term relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Win new commercial business with customers whose fresh food spend is from £250,000 through active prospecting and pipeline management.
- Build cross-functional relationships with prospect customers to position Fresh Direct and Sysco GB as their preferred supply partner.
- Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets in line with the Fresh Direct New Business budget.
- Liaise with cross-functional matrix team colleagues to deliver high-quality tender submissions within established guidelines.
- Work with the new business implementation team to launch new business wins.
- Collaborate with the wider Sysco GB group to identify joint opportunities for securing new customers.
- Contribute to the development of business goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives as a proactive member of the Fresh New Business Team.
- Proven experience in new business development with a successful track record in winning multiple sectors and tender management.
- Excellent customer relationship and rapport-building skills.
- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
- High-level structured solution selling and negotiation skills.
- Good commercial acumen and knowledge of key profit levers.
- Results-driven with high energy levels and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with all aspects of technology for building presentations and evaluating tenders using PowerPoint and Excel.
