Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Night Staff Nurse within the NHS National Services Scotland team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care, supporting bed and staff utilization within Burns and Plastic Surgery. This includes working shifts that include nights, weekends, and public holidays. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to maintain patient records according to NMC guidelines, and practice within the legal and ethical framework established by the Nursing Midwifery Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership for the assessment of patient needs, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based programmes of care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in line with NMC guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the senior charge nurse to manage duty rosters, sickness absence, and additional hours.
