Job Description

At Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our guests. As our Assistant Spa Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the operations of our luxurious spa and gym facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spa Operations Management: Manage the spa team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of all spa facilities, including treatment rooms, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and gym.
  • Facility Maintenance: Be responsible for the upkeep and operation of the hotel's fitness centre, including reporting and escalating maintenance or cleanliness issues where required, and sustaining safety practices.
  • Team Leadership: Have motivation, energy, and attention to detail at the forefront of everything you do. Lead by example and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Guest Experience: Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, address guest concerns or complaints promptly, and continuously seek ways to enhance the spa experience for our guests and implement improvements accordingly.
  • Revenue Management: Be business-minded, understand your P&L, maximize revenue opportunities, control costs to optimize overall profitability, and implement quality controls.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a skilled team of spa professionals, including therapists, receptionists, and support staff.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for guests and staff.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Spa Manager or similar role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • In-depth knowledge of spa operations, including spa therapies, products, and equipment.
  • Strong people management skills
