Assistant Spa Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the spa team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of all spa facilities, including treatment rooms, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and gym.
  • Be responsible for the upkeep and operation of the hotel's fitness centre, including reporting and escalating maintenance or cleanliness issues where required, and sustaining safety practices.
  • Work with our brand partner to ensure our spa offering is coherent and creative.
  • Be business-minded, understand your P&L, maximise revenue opportunities, control costs to optimise overall profitability, and implement quality controls.
  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, address guest concerns or complaints promptly, and continuously seek ways to enhance the spa experience for our guests.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a skilled team of spa professionals, including therapists, receptionists, and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for guests and staff.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Spa Manager or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of spa operations, including spa therapies, products, and equipment.
  • Strong people management skills.
