About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team at NET Recruit. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for generating leads, advancing opportunities, and closing deals. You will also collaborate with vehicle designers and manufacturers to provide a cohesive service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for customers regarding all queries about sales and service, providing a high-class level of customer service
* Keep internal communications clear and open regarding the emergence of new opportunities from existing and new customers
* Ensure that customers are supported to understand their own requirements and displaying how the business can support these, including offering bespoke engineering services and tailoring sales proposals
* Seek opportunities to add commercial value for the customers at any chance given
* Support the marketing and service offering teams with market knowledge and insights to improve the business offerings and how they are targeted to customers
* Liaise with internal departments to ensure every step from inception to the delivery of products/service runs smoothly, meets customer expectations and that communication is kept at the forefront of priorities
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with a Sales Engineering capacity
* Excellent technical knowledge relating to the relevant industries
* Keen communicator who can proactively identify and pursue leads to bring in new business, gain an understanding of complex customer needs and effectively demonstrate how the business can support these needs to win over business
* Qualification relevant to engineering, ideally a HNC or equivalent, although applicants who are 'qualified by experience' will be considered too
* Good computer competency, particularly with using a CRM or ERP system
* Any additional knowledge encompassing ISO9001 or AS9100 quality systems would be beneficial

* A base salary of up to £60,000, depending on the relevant experience possessed
