About the Role

Hays Senior Finance is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Business Services team. As an Outsourcing Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to our clients, including management accounts, VAT returns, and financial reporting.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading accountancy firm and contribute to the growth and success of our Business Services team. You will have the chance to work with a variety of clients, from sole traders to limited companies, and develop your skills in financial operations, management accounting, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review management accounts for clients
  • Assist with VAT returns and financial reporting
  • Support the junior team with queries and training
  • Review client records and make recommendations for improvements
  • Assist with implementation projects, including planning and training
Requirements
  • ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong background in finance operations, with prior experience in a similar position
  • Practical experience of drafting management accounts, producing and reporting on management accounts, and setting up accounting systems/functions
  • Strong ICT skills and ability to utilize software systems to their full potential
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
  • Full UK driving licence with access to own transport
