About the Role

Hays Senior Finance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to provide exceptional accounting services to our clients. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, reviewing accounts, and delegating tasks to junior staff.

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and implement accounting processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage deadlines, set and meet budgets, and ensure timely client billing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Hold the ICAEW/ACCA qualification or demonstrate equivalent experience.
  • Have previous experience in a UK practice environment preparing accounts and tax returns for unincorporated and corporate clients.
  • Have previous exposure to medical sector clients.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software, including Sage and Xero.
  • Have excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex financial information to clients.
