About the Role:

Alexander Ash Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Proposal Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our cross-industry team, you will be responsible for managing and leading successful proposals, particularly within a B2B/Professional Services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned proposals, ensuring all elements adhere to solicitation requirements and industry best practices.
  • Draft critical sections of proposals, such as firm-level assurance processes and staff profiles, while maintaining a consistent voice and tone throughout.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including HR, legal, finance, and design, to complete all necessary forms and documents.
  • Integrate firm sales messaging effectively into proposals and pitches, showcasing our expertise and value proposition.
  • Develop tailored proposals that demonstrate a clear understanding of client needs and requirements, driving business growth and success.
  • Partner with our Design Team to create visually compelling and effective proposal materials that showcase our capabilities.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to enhance the proposal development process, including creating templates, tools, and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry experts, service lines, and other key stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a proposal management role, preferably within a B2B/Professional Services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading proposal development within the public sector, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and procurement practices.
  • Shipley and/or Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
