About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team at Fitzgerald HR. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for leading our internal recruitment processes and overseeing our training and development offering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Collaborate with internal hiring managers to conduct job analysis, develop job descriptions, and define candidate requirements.
  • Write engaging job adverts and post them to attract and hire the best candidates.
  • Lead the sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection process of candidates in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive recruitment experience for all parties, communicating regularly with candidates and managers throughout the process.
  • Build a pool of top talent for future opportunities within the business.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and HR partners as needed.
  • Oversee the booking of health and safety training and personal development training to ensure it is effectively provided and up to date for all employees.
  • Manage relationships with external training providers.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date recruitment and training records are maintained in line with compliance regulations.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
  • Conduct HR induction meetings and develop onboarding plans for new hires alongside hiring managers.
  • Support the setup of a new training academy and apprenticeship scheme.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations by updating policies and practices accordingly.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in heading up an internal recruitment team and specialist experience in managing all aspects of the recruitment process. You will have experience in overseeing training and development for employees and ideally in hiring apprentices.

The successful candidate will have a positive can-do attitude and be an enthusiastic, creative team player. You will be a confident communicator who enjoys building positive, long-term professional relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and stakeholders.

You will be fully IT literate with knowledge of the MS Office Suite and experience in using Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Teamtailor or equivalent) to manage the recruitment process in an accurate and timely manner. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a busy, ever-changing workload are required.
