About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team as a Technical Operations Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and people-driven culture where you will be supported and developed in your IT career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first- and second-line support to 500+ end users, prioritizing and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with outsourced service providers to ensure ongoing service levels are maintained to ITIL standards.
  • Procure and manage IT-related hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Support the IT development network, including maintenance, backup, and upgrades.
  • Manage assets and configure and test Tablet PCs and in-house software.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of head office facilities, including maintenance, servicing, and allocation of security passes.
  • Facilitate office upgrades and improvements, and manage telephony systems.
  • Lead a team of intermediate and junior engineers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Exceptional organizational and personal skills, with a strong background in general IT.
  • Experience in IT support, technical operations, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
