Job Summary:

Pertemps Bond is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the administration of export documentation. As an Export Documentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate production of export documents and invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and compliant export documentation, including commercial invoices and shipping documents
  • Provide administrative support to the Export Managers, including liaison with shipping agents, export depots, and banks
  • Facilitate communication with overseas sales offices and foreign customers as necessary
  • Manage credit control processes, including producing statements and chasing customers or their bankers for payments
  • Assist in the production of export documents and sales invoices
  • Update spreadsheets with accurate information and assist in the planning of export loads
  • Coordinate container bookings with ocean carriers and freight forwarders
  • Process freight invoices and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable
  • Strong ICT skills, particularly in Excel
  • Previous experience in the shipping or logistics industry is an advantage but not essential
