We are seeking a seasoned Chief People Officer to join our leadership team and help us navigate our next phase of growth. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a people strategy that aligns with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic People Leadership: Develop and execute a people strategy that drives business results, lead and grow the people team, own the people budget, and define our Employee Experience.
- Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee the talent acquisition function, implement strategies for attracting and retaining exceptional people, and oversee a hiring process that ensures new starters meet the core needs of the business.
- Employee Engagement and Development: Lead the design and implementation of development and training programmes, foster career growth and advancement opportunities, and measure employee engagement to facilitate continual optimisation.
- Performance Management: Establish a consistent and effective performance evaluation process, drive a culture of continuous feedback and performance improvement, and implement a rewards and recognition programme that aligns with company values.
- Compensation and Benefits: Implement a pay review process in line with our values, design salary benchmarking, compensation programmes, and benefits, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Champion DEI initiatives and integrate them into all functions, develop and track metrics to measure DEI progress and impact, and promote a culture of belonging and fairness for all employees.
- Employee Relations and Compliance: Promote effective employee relations and conflict resolution, ensure HR policies and practices are in compliance with relevant labour laws, and address employee concerns and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
- Extensive people and culture leadership experience in a fast-moving SaaS business.
- Ability to define and lead a best-in-class Employee Experience.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop those skills in others.
- Experience in building and owning people strategies from the ground up and right-sizing for our stage of growth.
- A competitive salary of £135k (FTE).
