Job Summary:

Collins King & Associates Limited is seeking a highly skilled Head of Sales and Events to join our team in London. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading sales efforts for our luxury hotel's event spaces, cultivating new business opportunities, and managing client relationships. With a proven track record in event sales and a strong network of contacts within the events and corporate sectors, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

About the Role:

This role requires a seasoned professional with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure the successful execution of events, including canapé receptions for up to 200 guests and seated dinners for up to 100 guests. Your ability to stay updated on industry trends and competitors will be essential in identifying new opportunities for growth. Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue for the hotel's event spaces
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and industry events
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, and corporate partners
* Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase our facilities to prospective clients
* Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring all terms meet the clients' needs and the hotel's standards
* Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the successful execution of events

Requirements:

* Proven experience in event sales, preferably within the luxury hotel or hospitality industry
* Strong network of contacts within the events and corporate sectors
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
