Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our Community Safety Unit as a CCTV Monitoring Officer. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for providing a safe environment to residents and visitors in North Lanarkshire.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is £26,412 - £27,722, based on 21 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and assistance to the public on anti-social behaviour (ASB) and out-of-hours homeless services
  • Operate a CCTV monitoring service to ensure public safety
  • Respond to customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Input data to relevant systems and assist in the production of reports

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of North Lanarkshire geographical area and CCTV systems (full training provided)
