Child Welfare Specialist

CROYDON COUNCIL-2 seeks to hire a highly skilled Child Welfare Specialist to join their team in Croydon. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out child and family assessments, creating family plans, and working with families to support the intervention of agreed plans.
The ideal candidate will have completed their ASYE and possess strong analytical and writing skills. They must also be able to work effectively with families and children, as well as partner agencies, to ensure the best possible outcomes. In addition, they will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to manage complex cases.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker to join a highly diverse workforce and contribute to delivering exceptional social work practice and services to children and families in Croydon. The salary for this role is £45,510 - £53,607 per annum, which is a competitive compensation package. We offer a range of benefits, including accredited systemic practice training, 29-31 days annual leave, and a pension scheme with an average employer contribution of 20%.
