Child Welfare Expert

The Senior Children Services Practitioner plays a critical role in delivering positive safety and well-being outcomes for children. As an expert practitioner, you will provide leadership of practice through exemplary direct work, staff development, and specialist focus on a given area of practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Direct delivery or contribution to the delivery of safety and well-being outcomes for children
- Providing leadership and guidance to other staff within the team
- Supporting staff to develop their level of practice and expertise
- Maintaining high standards of report writing and case recording
This role requires a highly skilled and experienced social worker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to engage and build relationships with children, families, and other professionals.
We are committed to delivering excellent social work practice and services to our children and families. The salary for this position is $53,607 - $55,620 per annum (Grade 15).
